WTS

Through the use of state-of-art technology, the Weld Tip Inspection System (WTS) enables users to improve the quality of resistive "spot" welding, while also reducing costs by minimizing scrap and cell downtime. The WTS uses the Concurrent Universal Recognition Engine (CURE^®), which contains a massively parallel, associative memory processing architecture. Using CURE means high performance, with quick setup and training.

The WTS is implemented with neural network logic, making the difficult task of tip inspection possible. Software programming time and delays have also been eliminated because it is a learning system. For setup, the user will only need several examples of good and bad tips to train a new system. In some cases, complete installation and setup may require only a few hours, not days.
